Are you not of more value than the birds and the flowers? How much do you think He loves you?
I have learned over the past few years how important it is to believe that He loves you. Right believing leads to right living.
The Lord Jesus asked us:
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Matthew 6
Do we really believe that cares for us? And not just the world in general, but you, the individual? When we believe He loves us, this affects our actions, and how we respond to Him. The second verse in the booklet is to cast all our cares on Him, for He cares for us. But do we really believe this? Are casting our cares to Him believing His love, or are we just throwing things at Him and just hoping for the best?
Right believing, again, leads to right living. If you do believe He loves for you, it would make it so much easier to cast your cares on Him, and to approach His throne of grace with confidence.
Pastor Prince has this sermon where he talks about how we need to know and believe His love for us, and in that, we can receive His blessings for us. And in the book of Romans, the apostle Paul poses a question:
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Romans 8
Think about it, He has already given us His best, what’s everything else? In asking that, the apostle Paul gives us a full view of God’s love for us. The Lord Jesus was God’s only, the one whom He loved. And he gave Him up for us. And the Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated His love when He laid down His love for us.
You are loved!
And just in case you think you have somehow lost the love of God:
9 “To me this is like the days of Noah,Isaiah 54
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.
10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Nothing, not even you, or your sins, can separate you from His love.
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8
So think on that, and let it sink in. Meditate on His love for you, and feed on it daily.
Until next time,
Be blessed, and remember that you are loved and highly favor.Find me on Social media:
